CT Calls and new layouts!

The last couple of days, I've sat down and put things on paper, like mini-goals, trying to have a reasonable budget, and just a couple of things. I bought an organizer... it's simple but its something that will keep me honest and hopefully on track on of things. I am just sick of being where I am and if I don't do something, I have a feeling I will not get out. Ok enough about me and my whinnings.

Three (3) of my Creative Teams are having a CT Call. Experience is not necessary. The requirments varies for each team but it's something like 1 min kit a month, post in their stores plus one of your choice, enable them everywhere, wear their blinkies, and participation on CT forums.  So if you are interested please send a short-bio, favorite gallery links, and current CTs to the appropiate designer.  Here are the CT trends for their specific requirment. I hope you do apply, I love working with them. They are wonderful women!

Ok now to more CT layouts ....
These layouts are using Simply Susan Godfrey's newst kit called Woodland Jamboree. This first one is of Shawn's nephew, Bryce.  All of these pictures came from family members sending them to me via cell phone.

This next layout is with Michael and Lana, my brother's kids. I had to watch them for a couple hours on Saturday. My mom had stuff to do in the morning and then Eric got them after he was done with his work. They went the park the day before and rode their bikes. They were still in my mom's car so we had to take them out before she left. So they rode their bikes in the garage ... then I had to drive shawn to work. LOL there is another story with the bikes... Lana got her princess one for her bday in July from her parents. LOL Michael, that little brat, whinned that he wanted one... I think within a couple of days, his dad bought him the green bike... talk about SPOILED! Oh wells ...

My last layout is of Bryce and Shawn jumping into the pool. They both made big splashes. Notice the form... they are the same. LOL. Shawn was complaining I don't scrap him... so here is his layout, kinda... his back side at least.   And if you really like this layout, you can find it Faith Sisters in a couple of days.  I am sure you can find wonderful pictures to fil into this layout.

To the next layout .... The elements were designed by Gina Hubbard. I don't think she scraps anymore. When she was at Scrapbooks Gone Digital, I CT for her. This is of Bryce, my bar manager ... and the owner is right next to him. 8/23 Dodger vs Cubs the bar did a customer appreciation thing.. rented a bus and the whole 30 min drive we drank and drank and then we watched the game directly under the blazing sun behind third base. I took a pic of my sweetie and rick and the rest was of Bryan taking a nap in the first 3 innings. This pic was during the first inning.

This next layout .... again using Gina's kits. This is me and my sweetie. Yes he wore black on a very hot day. Him and Rick spent most of the game behind the water fan.

This next one ... is using SgD Designs 2010 Calender template and Simply Susan Godfrey's Sunshiny Day kit... and Bryan's sleepy picture.  He is my bar manager, I had to something nice for him and this was the perfect picture. Monday night, I printed out the 8x10 calender and hung it right in the middle of the bar for all those who notice it. I also left a nice big fat note for him. I haven't seen him since last sunday... so tomorrow night might be interesting.

Ok. well that's all folks for today at least. I am working on one of Simply Susan's Christmas kit and then she has a new kit out this week. Please don't forget to check out the CT calls. These ladies are great and will work with you.

SWAM - Not So Black Tie kit by DigiSkrapNMomma

You have to check out this kit, it's called Not so Black Tie by DigiSkrapNMomma at Scraps with a Mouse. This is my newest creative team and I am trying out CT lead for a couple months. I am very excieted, it's something new to learn.

Here are my CT layouts. I used pictures from Austin and Taylor's Choir Concert in May 2009. Their mommy is my co-worker, Pam. She is like my big sister that I never had. She also lives on the other side of the nation in MN.  A couple of the layouts I was trying new actions/scripts in GIMP and I so glad they came out adorable.

ok.. I am missing a couple of pictures... cuz all of these layout have Austin. Humm have to find the ones with Taylor. Sorry Tay, especially since you picked the kit for me.

I haven't done this in a while create a blog freebie... In this freebie you can download the one that you like. Sorry, I didn't think to zip them all into one file. I hope you like them. Pink A Dots by DigiSkrapMomma

Well, I first picked this kit for baby pictures but I used it for a couple of Lana's Bday pictures. Here are 2 layouts with Lana's pictures. This kit is called Pink A Dots by DigiSkrapMomma at Scraps with a Mouse.

Here are my layouts using this kit... It is really perfect especially with all the PINK!  I will eventually make additional layouts using the pictures on the 6th of July. I am playing catch up with my July CT layouts... thank godness my current designers are so laid back ... I am so happy to have them!

Happy Birthday America!

Funky Town

We live in a Funky Town where everyone just needs a break. Remember that new store I told you about the other day called Scraps with a Mouse. I have new layouts using DigiSkrapNMomma - Funky Town kit. 

This kit is great for all kinds of layouts I just happen to use it for Father's Day, Kids in a tree, and Kids making faces.  I made this frame using the Funky Town... Download link is in the middle of blog after my CT layouts.

The first layout I made for a word art challenge. I didn't like the WA for the challenge since it didn't quite fit my layout. Quote - Sometimes being a DAD is even better than a superhero. It fit perfect with a picture I took a couple months ago with Shawn pushing Savvy on the swing.

The next layout using the same kit comes from the last lines to a song "Summertime Blues" by Eddie Cochran. Those lines are: Sometimes I wonder what I'm a gonna do but there ain't no cure for the summertime blues. Ok I took the picture deep in Spring but the sunlight bouncing off the kids and the tree was perfect for the line of the song.

The next layout is too cute, another quote: Before you put on a frown, make absolutely sure there are no smiles available by Jim Beggs. In the picture is Jelynn (my first cousin but only kid so I count her as my sister), Kevin (my little brother), Michael (my godson/nephew) and Lana (neice) doing what they do best - Making Faces.

I enjoyed this kit for much I made a frame but I did not use it. It didn't fit any of my layouts so I hope you are able to use it. I've attached DigiSkrapNMomma's TOU, please follow the TOU when using the frame. You can download it here.

OMG today was not a good day and I expect tomorrow will be worst. I manage to come back and work for 4 hours provided that I misread my numbers and almost cause a headache. We just found out that the apartment that I live at was purchased by a new owner and we have a new manager... THANK GODNESS.. the last manager were horrible especially the wife. She was a Big B. It doesn't help that I live right next to the managers office. Well hopefully this manager is better than the last. Oh gosh I have to ask for a couple days off next week, my boss is gonna get mad. It's Michael's graduation from Kinder and Lana's from daycare. LOL.

A few things to share

A few things to share both scrapbooking and personal. Well, it's not a dab into designing because I used all the CU templates from Deb at The Scrapping Cop to make them. I was playing around one day and ended up with a couple of elements. If you like them, you can download them HERE and don't forget to visit The ScrappingCop's blog for those great CU downloads. I am suck a sucker for pictures. I love the baby pictures! My co-worker sent me a picture of her first grand-daughter Sami @12 weeks. I picked up another day at the bar so that leaves me with NO days off. I really hope I don't go nuts.. My normal job is Monday to Friday and at the bar is Satuday to Monday nights. Then I have my mini family on Wednesday and Thursday. So after work on Tuesday and Friday, I can actually sit down and relax provided that I don't need to do housework or any appointments. Ah I am gonna have to make time somewhere to have my play date with the kids... I miss those 4 hour trips to the park with three kids.

My Shoe and your hubby Congrats! Patty my co-worker just got married last Thursday! I am trying to get some pictures I have a new kit by Simply Susan Godfrey that I totally want to use. I also can use a kit by Kenna's Designs. I think my cousins got married last weekend too. I didn't get the message till later, my family figured since I am working they don't need to keep in the loop. But expect me to drop everything at a drop of a hat. Oh wells... that's family.

I found a new site called "Scraps with a Mouse" You should check it out! They are still looking for new designers and creative team members. You might know one of the designers from Divine. Design as DigiScrapNMamma, wells she is at this store! I found a new scrapper blog called Nzingha's Scraps.
Her layouts are amazing.. I will have to visit her blog again for some inspiration and ideas to improve my layouts.

OH wow, I just totally had a senior moment... okey time to log off here and get back to work. My project is due tomorrow then I am in court for the next two days... long story but I am just the taxi  driver. It should be interesting the next couple of days. I wonder what happened to Charles today. He had court to resolve whatever he had pending. He want to publish his book but you can't get a copywrite when your in the books. And he's having trouble getting his retirement money... basicly getting the run around. Well, I will see him tonight at the bar if they didn't lug him off to jail. Okey day... Sorry for rambling today!
